Resettable fuses
The system fuses are built into the EmpirBus nodes (see diagram below). If a fuse trips, a red light
flashes on the reset button on the EmpirBus panel, and on any switch controlling the circuit with the
tripped fuse. The fuse can be reset using the fuse reset button or on the specific node by following the
instructions for resetting fuses.
Instructions for resetting fuses:
Press the YELLOW (S) button repeatedly until the flashing position indicator is in the same position as
the tripped fuse. Press the RED (R) button to reset the fuse. Press the YELLOW (S) button and the
RED (R) button simultaneously when you are finished.
Additional equipment after delivery and changing the configuration file:
There are spare out ports on most of the nodes. Each port is rated for 8 A. If your equipment need
more power than 8 A you can connect two ports in parallel.
If you would like to change the configuration file please note that it is code locked. If your boat is newer
than 24 months only Hallberg-Rassy Varvs AB can make changes.
For boats older than 24 months you may contact an EmpirBus dealer.

Dimmer function (option)
Press once to turn the light on. Press and hold the button to adjust the brightness. Release the button
when the light reaches the desired level. Press again to turn off the light.
