Refer to Table 1 for the Hexadecimal codes to use to insert standard and 
non-standard ASCII characters.  

For example:  

To insert a vertical line, insert the Hexadecimal byte AC.  
To insert an upside down question mark, insert the Hexadecimal 
byte 13.
