Adjusting the driver's seat
The driver's seat (Fig. 10) must be adju-
sted so that the driver is seated comfor-
tably and can reach all the operating
elements with ease.
The vehicle is equipped with a
seat contact switch. The vehic-
le can only be operated when
the operating person is seated
on the seat.
The Hakomatic B 1050 W is equipped
with a driver's seat which can be adju-
sted in a longitudinal direction (forward
and back):
1. Force the lever on the right of the
seat outwards slightly.
2. Slide the seat forward or back in
steps of 15 mm.

Before starting up daily
Carry out the following checks before
starting the vehicle up for its daily ope-
ration (also refer to Section 5.3.2):
1. Check the recovery tank, empty as
necessary. Clean it as necessary.
Refer to Sections 5.6.1 and 5.6.2.
2. Check the waste container; empty
and clean it, if necessary; refer to
Section 5.7.1.
3. Fill the solution tank and cleaning
agent in accordance with the manuf-
acturer's mixing directives. Refer to
Section 3.1.4 and Section 5.5.1.
Only use cleaning agents (non-
foaming) suitable for the vehic-
le's vendor. We recommend
using our clean and care pro-
ducts which are specially ba-
lanced for the vehicles. These
products meet the require-
ments stipulated in the was-
hing and cleaning agent direc-
tive (WRMG - Wasch- und
Reinigungsmittelgesetzes).
4. Check the battery charge and re-
charge as necessary; refer to Sec-
tion 5.4.1.
Before starting the vehicle for
its first working operation, carry
out an initial battery charging
routine; refer to Section 2.2.
5. Check the area where the vehicle
was parked for signs of leaks. Ho-
ses, lines and tanks must show no
signs of leaks or damage. If neces-
sary, clear up any defects before
putting the vehicle into operation.
