5.7.1 Filling fuel
Only use the fuel prescribed,
refer to Technical Data!
1. Switch off the engine and remove
the ignition key from the start switch
before filling fuel. Apply the parking
brake.
2. Remove the cap (Fig. 17/2) and fill
the fuel tank (Fig. 17/3). Check the fill
level when doing so. Tank volume:
20 liters.
3. Replace the cap.
5.7.2 Changing the fuel filter
Check the fuel filter cartridge and
preliminary filter every 250 operating
hours and replace, if necessary.
1. Open the engine compartment, refer
to section 5.4.1.
2. Unscrew the fuel filter cartridge
(Fig. 17/1).
3. Remove the preliminary filter
(Fig. 17/4).
Dispose of used fuel according
to the applicable
environmental regulations!
4. Install new fuel filter cartridges with
new sealing rings (tighten hand-
tight). Insert the new preliminary
filter.
The fuel pump vents
automatically if the fuel tank is
run empty.
