14. Set switch S2 to the side marked in white. 

 

 

IMPORTANT:

  Do not forget this step, otherwise the Hakko 192 will not properly read 

RMS millivolt leakage. 
 

15. Remove the leads of the calibrator from the Hakko 192. 

 

 
 

Resistance Measurement Calibration 

 

1.  Turn on the Hakko 192 and set the unit to measure resistance. 

 

2.  Clip one lead from a decade resistance box to connector CN5 and the other lead to the 

conduction plate. 
 

3.  Set the decade resistance box to 0 ohms. 

 

4.  Adjust trimpot VR5 until a 00.0 ohms reading is obtained on the Hakko 192 display. 

 

5.  Set the decade resistance box to 90 ohms. 

 

6.  Adjust trimpot VR6 until a 90.0 ohms reading is obtained on the Hakko 192 display. 

 

7.  Check the Hakko 192 display at decade resistance box settings of 1 ohm, 2 ohms, and 

3 ohms to see that it is accurately measuring the low end of the scale.  If it does not, 
repeat steps 1 through 6 again. 
 

8.  Remove the decade resistance box leads from the conduction plate and connector CN5.
