8. Audio Language : Changes the audio language
setting for ATSC TV programs. You can select
from English, Français, or Español. When the
ATSC TV program signal supports the audio
language of your choice, the TV will give the first
priority to that language.
9. AVL : This function automatically adjusts audio
volume to be consistent across programs and
channels. You can choose On or Off.
TV Menu
You can use the options in the TV menu to adjust
TV channel settings and other TV related
functions.
1. Tuner Mode : Select the TV source signal:
Antenna (air) or Cable (CATV).
2. Auto Channel Search : Automatically scans all
NTSC / ATSC TV channels and then stores them
in the channel table.
3. Add/Skip Channels : Adds channels which
were not previously found, or skips unwanted
channels.
4. Favorites : Displays the Favorite Channel List.
You can edit (add/delete) the favorite channels in
the list.
5. Channel Labels : Displays the NTSC / ATSC TV
Channel Labels menu. You can modify the
channel labels for each channel.
6. Audio Only : This function allows you to turn off
the picture display and listen to the TV audio
only.
7. Time Shifting Mode : Enables (when On is
selected) or disables (when Off is selected) the
Time Shift function of the TV. For more
information about the Time Shift function, see
"USING THE TIME SHIFT FUNCTION" on
page 20.
Setup Menu
With the options in the Setup menu you can
change general settings of the TV, like time, date,
OSD menu language and so on.
1. Language : Select the OSD menu language.
(English / Français / Español)
2. Time : Set the current date and time.
[Date/Time] : You can set up the current date
and time using these options:
•
Mode : Select Auto to let the TV acquire day
and time information automatically from the
TV signal, or Manual to set up date and time
manually using the options below.
•
Time Zone : Select your time zone.
•
Daylight Savings : Choose On or Off
according to your area.

: Adjust the
current date and time.
[Sleep Timer] : To set a time period for which
the TV will be turned off automatically when the
time expires.
3. Closed Caption : Allows you to adjust closed
caption options:
[Caption Control] : You can select a closed
caption mode: CC Off, CC On or CC On When
Mute.
[Analog Caption] : You can select an analog
caption type: CC 1-4 or TEXT 1-4.
[Digital Caption] : You can select a digital
caption type: SERVICE 1-6.
[Digital CC Settings] : These options allow
you to customize the digital closed caption style.
