Inputting a Passphrase
1)
To connect to a WPA-PSK-secured network, you must obtain a passphrase. Contact the network administrator or service provider to obtain a passphrase.
2)
The prompt for your passphrase is accompanied by a text-entry ribbon. Use the Touchpad and text-entry ribbon to input your passphrase. Then select
“Confirm.” (Typically, a passphrase is between 8 and 63 characters long.)
3)
There may be a brief processing delay while a connection is formed. Then the screen you were accessing is restored.
Authenticating on a Captive Portal
1)
If your network administrator indicates that your network uses a captive portal, you may need to obtain a username and/or password. Ask the network
administrator or service provider to obtain these credentials.
2)
A prompt similar to the following appears: “To log on to this network, you must sign in through a network web page.”
3)
Press the Touchpad. The network portal’s page appears. Follow the prompts to provide authentication and gain access to the Internet.
