Operation
As with all tube amplifiers, OVERDRIVE takes approximately 30 seconds to warm up and
start working.
For clean tones, set all controls to center. Adjust DRIVE to get dirty overdrive tones,
while turning down LEVEL to compensate volume. BASS and TREBLE controls are placed
after the overdriven second stage and offer up truly flat response when centered. There
is no inherent midrange dip or peak; each string pluck will respond with equal authority.
Warnings
Do not spill liquids onto pedal. If this happens, immediately unplug unit from power
supply. Remove tube, then rinse or soak assembly in 91% isopropyl alcohol for several
minutes (up to an hour if the beer had dried). Allow 24 hours to dry.
Do not use a standard negative 9V pedal power supply. This unit uses positive 9V and
also requires high current (500mA).
