Locking mode

Locking cycle

Menu path: 

Main menu / Terminal functions / Terminal mode 
/ Locking mode

Description: 

The terminal is operated in locking mode.

Locking cycle: When an authorised user key 
stick is held in front of the terminal, it releases 
the locking unit for a certain period of time 
(open time) which can be set in advance. 
During this time, it is possible to open the 
locking unit. Following this, the terminal re-
locks the locking unit again automatically.

Toggle mode

Menu path: 

Main menu / Terminal functions / Terminal mode

Description: 

The terminal is operated in alternating mode 
(toggle mode).

Alternating mode: The first time an authorised 
user key stick is held in front of the terminal, it 
releases the locking unit. The terminal re-locks 
the locking unit again only when an authorised 
user key stick is held in front of it again.
