USING YOUR TOASTER

FOR THE FIRST USE

Before first use of the product, put the toaster in a properly

ventilated room and select the brown setting number 3 as

below. Let the toaster complete three toasting cycles without

bread in it and each cycle should be rested for 3 minutes. This

burns off any dust and prevents unpleasant smells.

Toasting

1.   Place the toaster upright on a firm, level, heat-resistant

surface, clear of curtains and other combustible materials.

2.  Plug the power cord into the socket.

3.  Ensure the crumb tray is in place before using.

4.   Insert regular bread slices into the bread slots, maximum of

2 slices can be toasted at a time.

5.   Set the browning control to your desired setting. There

are 7 positions, “1” is for lightest and the “7” is for darkest

toasting. Depending on the thickness of the bread, it can be

toasted to a golden colour in the middle position.

6.   Press the carriage handle down vertically until it clicks into

position. The light indicator for the

Cancel

 function will be

illuminated, and the appliance will begin toasting.

7.   Once the bread has been toasted to the desired setting, the

carriage handle will automatically pop up.

NOTE: During toasting, you may also observe the toasting

colour. If it is satisfactory, you can press the Cancel button to

cancel the operation at any time, never lift carriage handle to

cancel toasting.
