always be followed, including the following:

•  Read all Instructions prior to first use.
•  Do not touch hot surfaces.
•  Use handles or knobs when holding the appliance.
•  This Kettle can be used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the Kettle in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.

•  Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with

the Kettle.

•  Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children

without supervision.

•  Keep the Kettle and its mains cord out of the reach of children

younger than 8 when the Kettle is switched on or is cooling down.

•  While the water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled,

avoid contacting with steam from the spout.

•  Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without

tipping the kettle too fast.

•  Before you connect the kettle to the mains supply, make sure that

the voltage indicated on the rating plate, located on the bottom of
the jug kettle matches the mains voltage in your home. If it does
not, contact your dealer and do not use the kettle.

•  To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or

any part of the kettle in water or other liquid.

•  Before switching the kettle on, ensure the water level is between

the Min and Max lines and that the lid is completely closed.

•  If the kettle boils dry, allow 15 minutes to cool before refilling with

cold water. The safety cut out will automatically reset during this
time.
