7.3.2 Using the USB interface

Basically, you have the possibility to use the complete range of functions of 

the user interface via USB. To do this, connect the controller to your com-

puter using a suitable USB cable. The driver should now install itself. Now 

select the appropriate COM interface and press „Connect“. Then continue 

as described in 7.

8. Accessories

To be able to use the extended range of functions, you may need 

additional connectors. According to point 2, 4-pole and 5-pole plugs 

are used on the HST-50 controller to control the different interfaces. 

These socket housings and the matching crimp contacts with cable 

can be purchased separately. 

For the connection of a BLDC motor via the 3 phases we 

recommend the use of 4mm gold contact plugs. These 

can then be plugged directly into the sockets provided on 

the controller side.
