Multiple hazards. Only qualified personnel must conduct the tasks described in this section of the

Chemical exposure hazard. Obey laboratory safety procedures and wear all of the personal protective
equipment appropriate to the chemicals that are handled. Refer to the current safety data sheets
(MSDS/SDS) for safety protocols.
Make sure that the power lines are de-energized before installation.
Note: To make sure that safety and proper performance do not have electro-magnetic disturbances, DC power for
the instrument must be derived from Hach power supply (230-300-0001) or directly from the equipment that is
monitored by this instrument.

• Hardware to attach the instrument
Attach the mounting plate to a wall or other permanent fixture. Refer to

Personal injury hazard. Enclosed systems contain high pressure. Qualified personnel must remove
pressure from the system before the instrument can be installed or removed.
