HABCO® Commercial Refrigerators bearing the ENERGY STAR® logo are 
manufactured and designed to perform within the most stringent en-
ergy efficiency guidelines. The following energy efficiency tips, however, 
pertain to all commercial refrigerators and should be followed for best 
energy efficiency results.

1. 

Maintain a clean condenser coil.

2. 

Turn off lighting when not in use.

3. 

Maintain clean door seals and ensure bottom door guide is 
clear of debris at all times.

4. 

Do not install in direct vicinity of high heat or high humidity 
sources such as heating vents, baseboard heaters, ranges, 
and ovens, steam cookers, commercial dishwashers. 

5. 

Do not install directly beneath undiffused air conditioning 
vents.

6. 

Read, understand and observe Safety Warnings and Notices 
in this manual as many of these points will also contribute 
to energy savings and appliance efficiency.
