Remove the air filter from the inside of the power module shell.

3) Grasp the power module handle with one hand and pull it part way out of the

chassis. Then hold the bottom of the power module with the other hand and slide it

out gently.

Caution:

The power modules of the S7500 series are rather heavy. You are recommended to

hold the bottom of the module with one hand while pulling the handle with the other.

Install a blank panel on the slot for dust-proof and heat dissipation if you are not

going to install a new power module in the slot, from which the module is removed.

6.3 Removing and Installing Boards

SRPUs and LPUs of the S7500 series can be installed and removed in a similar way.

This section describes how to install and remove these boards.

Boards of the S7500 series are hot-swappable.
