Configuring a VSI interface or VSI aggregate

Creating a VSI interface or VSI aggregate interface 

  IMPORTANT: 

When the total number of VSI interfaces and VSI aggregate interfaces on the device exceeds 512, 
make sure the VDP keepalive exponent is larger than the default value. If the exponent is not larger 
than the default value, some VSI interfaces or VSI aggregate interfaces might be automatically 
deleted. 

 

VSI interfaces or VSI aggregate interfaces are typically created by a VSI manager. You can perform 
this task to create a VSI interface on an S-channel interface or create a VSI aggregate interface on 
an S-channel aggregate interface. In addition, you can perform this task to modify the Pre-Associate 
and Associate properties of a VSI interface or VSI aggregate interface. 

Removing an S-channel also removes all its VSI interfaces and VSI aggregate interfaces. 

To create a VSI interface or VSI aggregate interface:
