The cable retention clip is supplied with the power module. Before 
connecting the power cord, install the clip on the power cord first.  

 

 

NOTE:  

The cable retention clip is designed for the power cords 
provided by H3C only. For other power cords, omit the 
information in this section. 

 

Follow these steps to install a cable retention clip:  

1. 

Place two parts of the clip around the connector and align the 
holes on two parts of the clip.  

2. 

Fix the clip on the power connector with screws using the No. 1 
Phillips screwdriver, as shown in 

Figure 5

.  

Connecting the Power Cord 

Connect the power cord to the power module after installing the cable 
retention clip on the connector. The procedures for connecting power 
cords to the four power input sockets on the PSR6000-ACV are the 
same.
