4.12. Removing the child car seat
Press the release buttons on the ISOFIX connectors to release the ISOFIX
anchorage.
Slide the ISOFIX locking arms back into the seat shell.
Now remove the child car seat from the vehicle.
NOTE:
The child car seat must never be transported in the car unless it is properly secured.
5. Care and cleaning
5.1. Removing the cover
Carefully pull the protection of the buckle upwards.
Open the pushbuttons between the cover of the seat base and the head
rest.
Reach under the cover at the bottom of the seat and pull it slightly for-
ward and upwards. Now pull the cover over the buckle.
You can wash the cover with a mild detergent in the machine (30 ° C).
Please note the instructions on the washing label.
Please never use chemicals or bleaching agents.
The plastic parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not use sharp
detergents (such as solvents).
CAUTION:
Never remove the buckle tongues from the straps or the buckle. Only use HEYNER
seat covers. Never use the child car seat without a cover.
Let the shoulder strap of the vehicle run through the belt guide slot. The
shoulder strap should run in the middle of the shoulder to ensure an opti-
mal belt path.
CAUTION:
The belt must not be twisted.The head rest must be properly
adjusted according to your child.

Now run the lap belt (W) with the lock tongue (V) over the armrests of
the child car seat towards the three-point belt buckle and secure the lock
tongue (V) from the three-point belt of the vehicle into the three-point belt
buckle with an audible << CLICK >>.
IMPORTANT:
The diagonal belt should run centrally over the shoulder, the
lap belt as low as possible over the groin.
Make sure that the diagonal belt runs exactly and does not run too close to
the child‘s neck. All straps must fi t tightly against the child and must not be twisted.
Between the straps and the body of the child may only fi t a fl at hand.
Customize the belt height adjuster in the vehicle to the size of the child and size of the child car
seat.
Check the path of the belts and the headrest height from time to time and adapt them to your
growing child.
