FOR CHARGING SYSTEM TEST
1.
After starter test, press “ENTER” button to go to charging system
test, the screen shows
to read live voltage, LCD shows

Run up the engine to 1200 ~ 1500 rpm, read the voltage while the
car is running.
A.
: Charging system ok.
B.
: Charging voltage is too high, check regulator.
C.
: Charging voltage is too low, check connections, wiring and
alternator.
3.
Following when the charging system is idle, continue the charging
system test with accessory loads. Turn on the blower to high (heat),
high beam headlights, and rear defogger. Do not use cyclical loads
such as air conditioning or windshield wipers.

: Charging system ok.
B.
: Charging voltage is too high, check regulator.
C.
: Charging voltage is too low, check connections, wiring and
alternator.
FOR RIPPLE TEST
1.
After charging system test, press “ENTER” button to go ripple test,
LCD shows
and get the reading of ripple voltage
