recycling facility. Do not dispose of in domestic waste.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The 25/24 was designed for two purposes :
The IUoU charging curve can charge liquid or gel electrolyte batteries (lead, lead Calcium, lead Calcium-silver, AGM...)
from 35 Ah to 350 Ah in 6, 12 or 24 V.
The IUIo charging curve can charge traction batteries (e.g. for forklifts, floor sweepers...), from 35 Ah to 180 Ah in 6,
12 or 24 V.
CONNECTIONS AND GENERAL OPERATIONS
Ensure that the correct sequences are followed.
Precaution: Check the electrolyte level for open batteries. Fill it up if necessary, before starting the charge.
1. Connect the clamps : Red clamp to the battery’s (+) and black clamp to the battery’s (-).
Specific to the IUIo mode
Connect the charger :
- directly to the battery, using the charger’s standard clamps.
- or the device’s specific connector, by replacing the clamps with a dedicated connector while observing the
correct polarity and current .
2. Connect the charger to the 230 V mains.
3. Turn the switch to «ON». The display’s leds rotate.

4. Choose the charging curve ( button 5 p.44):
- IUoU for automotive batteries,
- IUIo for traction batteries. To choose the IUIo mode, press 5 seconds.
5. Select the battery voltage (6, 12, 24 V) according to the recommendations features on the battery or
according to the battery coupling (series or parallel, see p.44).
Risk of explosion or acid projections if the wrong voltage is selec-
ted (24V for a 12V battery).
6. Choose the charging speed depending on the battery capacity (Ah) ( 3 p.44).

7. Before starting the charge, the Batium performs
the following operations :
While the leds rotate
(

p.44), it is still
possible to change the settings.
a- battery analysis : battery state/voltage… The
Batium signals an anomaly (see table p13).
The message
(check ) appears on the dis-
play. The settings cannot be modified.
b- It recovers the battery when the voltage is too
low.
The message
remains in the display, as long
as the Batium recovers the battery.
