When using Gymform
®
SIX PACK, women must observe
the following waiting times:
• At least six months after birth (please consult a doctor
beforehand).
• One month after inserting a contraceptive coil.
• At least three months after a caesarean section (please
consult a doctor beforehand).
• The first days of menstruation.
Inserting the battery:
The Gymform
®
SIX PACK works with the supplied CR2032
battery pack, which is located on the back of the EMS device.
• Insert a coin into the groove in the cover and turn it to the
left to open.
• Remove the protective foil from the battery. Insert the
battery with the positive (+) pole facing up, turn the cover
to the right to close it (see figure 2).
ATTENTION:
As the battery power decreases, electrical stimu-
lation becomes weaker. If the battery is flat, the indicator lamp
will go out and the buttons may not work properly. Replace the
battery with a new one. Before disposing the equipment, remove
the batteries and dispose them safely. If the unit is not to be used
for a long time, remove the batteries to protect it from damage.
Use of Gymform
®
SIX PACK:
1. Fasten the EMS device (1) to the Gymform
®
SIX PACK (5)
using the push buttons. Make sure that the EMS device is
properly attached.
2. Remove the plastic protection films from one side of the
smaller self-adhesive pads (8) and attach them to the
Gymform
®
SIX PACK. The pads must cover the grey area
completely.
3. Remove the plastic protective film from the other side of
the smaller self-adhesive pads (8) and place the product
on the stomach.
4. Press the „+ / I“ button (2) once to turn the device on. The
indicator lamp (4) will then flash and indicate that you are
at intensity level 1.
5. Press the „+ / I“ button (2) again to gradually increase the
intensity level. There are a total of 10 steps.
6. Press the „- / o“ button (3) to reduce the intensity levels.
If you are at intensity level 1 and press the „- / o“ key, the
device switches off.
7. We recommend starting with low intensity levels and
gradually increasing the intensity as you familiarize yourself
with the device.
8. To switch off the device immediately, press the „- / o“ button
(3) for 2 seconds.
9. Gymform
®
SIX PACK has only one automatic program. The
program switches off automatically after 20 minutes.
10. 10 minutes a day is enough. If you want even better results,
use Gymform
®
SIX PACK as programmed 20 minutes daily.
You can also combine Gymform
®
SIX PACK with physical
activity (e. g. push-ups) for better success. To ensure that
the product is securely attached, you can use the Gymform
®
SIX PACK belt (7) and attach it to the Gymform
®
SIX PACK.
1.
Place the Gymform
®
SIX PACK and turn on the unit.
Select the desired intensity.
2.
Lay the belt (7) around the waist so that the buckle is
on the outside.
3.
Fix the belt (7) so that it sits comfortably and the Gym-
form
®
SIX PACK rests firmly against the stomach.
11. Gymform
®
SIX PACK switches off automatically when the
self-adhesive pads are not in contact with the skin or when
the battery needs to be replaced.
12. After using the unit, reattach the plastic protective foils.
IMPORTANT:
Never remove the 2 round orange-coloured
labels on the back of the Gymform
®
SIX PACK. If one of these
labels is not on the metal pins, replace them. If any of the 2
metal pins are exposed, do not use the product until the pins
are covered again.
Use of the Gymform
®
SIX PACK MINI:
This element is designed for use on the following muscle
groups: chest muscles, biceps and triceps, upper thigh front
upper area, upper thigh back upper area, calves, buttocks,
lumbar muscles, upper back area, shoulders
1. Place the EMS device (1) on the Gymform
®
SIX PACK MINI
(6) with the aid of the push buttons.
2. Remove the plastic protection films from one side of the
two larger self-adhesive pads (9) and attach them to the
Gymform
®
SIX PACK MINI. The pads must cover the grey
area completely.
3. Remove the plastic protective film from the other side of the
self-adhesive pads (9) and place the product on the area to
be treated (see figure 3). Replace the plastic protective film
after using the device.
NOTE:
WE RECOMMEND CHANGING THE PADS AFTER
EVERY 30 APPLICATIONS. IF YOU NOTE THAT THE PADS ARE
PREMATURELY NOT STICKING SO WELL, DAMPEN THE PADS
WITH A SLIGHTLY WET SPONGE.
Note:
When you start to feel heat at the place where the pads
are placed, the pads are likely coming to the end of their opera-
ting life. Turn off Gymform
®
SIX PACK, remove the device from
your body, attach new pads and restart the training session.
Cleaning and maintenance
DO NOT WASH Gymform
®
SIX PACK! WIPE IT WITH A DRY OR
DAMP CLOTH.
Wipe the self-adhesive pads with a finger moistened with water.
Do not immerse in water! Store in a cool, dry place at room
temperature. Do not peel off the insulating label.
Troubleshooting
THE CONTROL LAMP DOES NOT LIGHT UP:
Cause
:
•
The battery has not been inserted.
•
The battery has not been inserted correctly.
•
The battery is flat.
Solution:
•
Insert the battery.
•
Check that the positive (+) battery terminal symbol is
visible on the upside of the battery.
•
Change the battery.
THE CONTROL LAMP LIGHTS UP BUT THE DEVICE DOES
NOT OPERATE:
Cause:
•
No skin contact present.
•
The EMS device has not been properly attached to the
Gymform
®
SIX PACK.
•
Intensity level is set at 0.
•
The microprocessor has deactivated itself.
•
The battery is almost empty.
•
The pads are not covering the grey area completely.
Solution:
•
Make sure that the pad is in direct skin contact.
•
Check that the console is properly attached to the Gym-
form
®
SIX PACK with the brackets.
•
Press the + / I button to increase the intensity.
•
Carry out a reset by removing the battery and replacing
it after 1 minute.
•
Change the battery.
•
Place the pads so that they cover the grey area completely.
THE BUTTONS DO NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY:
Cause:
•
The microprocessor has deactivated itself.
•
The battery is almost empty.
•
The pads are not covering the grey area completely.
Solution:
•
Carry out a reset by removing the battery and replacing
it after 1 minute.
•
Change the battery.
•
Place the pads so that they cover the grey area
completely.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose this product at the end of its service life
through normal domestic waste. It has to be disposed
through a collection agency that recycles electric and
electronic devices. This is pointed out by the symbol on
the product, in the instruction manual, and on the packaging.
Please inquire about local collection agencies that may be
