Warning
Installation, connection, commissioning
and maintenance must be performed
only by qualified personnel. Instructions
for assembly and operation contain
warnings that must be observed to en-
sure proper operation and safety of the
hood. It is advisable to keep them for
future consultations. These instructions
apply to different finishing elements,
subject to the necessary differences in
individual characteristics that do not
relate to your specific model. The cooker
hood should not be used by persons
(including children) with reduced physi-
cal or mental abilities, not sufficiently
qualified or inexperienced. It is neces-
sary to inform children to stay away from
the hood and not to play with the appli-
ance.
I
nstructions for proper use
The hood may only be used to aspirate
cooking steam deriving from home cook-
ing appliances. Any other use is im-
proper. Improper use of the hood is dan-
gerous for persons and objects. The
hood cannot be used as support shelf
for objects, like bottles, aroma dispens-
ers or other loose objects.
Installation
The appliance must be installed by
qualified technical personnel, in accor-
dance with all relevant regulations of the
electricity company and local building
regulations. Follow the instructions for
the assembly! Do not place objects on
the hood!
Do not operate damaged appliances.
Any defective components must be re-
placed with original pieces.
Repairs may only be carried out by
qualified personnel.
Intoxication risk!
If the hood, in aspiration mode, is put
into operation simultaneously with other
aspirators (e.g. aspirators powered by
gas, fuel oil or coal), there is a danger of
developing deadly fumes, caused by
decompression established in the envi-
ronment. Always ensure an adequate
supply of fresh air. The level of decom-
pression should never be above 4Pa
(0.04 mbar).
Fire risk
!
The hood must never be operated with-
out the grease filter / active carbon filter
and it is necessary to monitor the proper
operation. In the presence of filters im-
pregnated with fat and grease, there is
a danger of fire!
Frying under the hood can only be done
while paying constant attention. Clean
the filter regularly! Do not cook on the
flame under the hood! Gas burners can
only be used under the hood if the pots
are equipped with lids! If you use more
than 3 gas-powered burners, set the
aspiration of the hood to level 2 or
above, so as to avoid an accumulation
of heat in the hood.
Preparation of operation
The model of the hood is in accordance
with safety standards for kitchen appli-
ances for home use. The requirements
that must be met by the environment
chosen for installation are described in
the user guide attached to the appli-
ance. If you are unsure whether the
environment is suitable for installation,
please contact our customer service.
Damaged appliances cannot be put in
operation. Damaged parts must be re-
