Mains power must be via a 230V AC fused spur with 5A
protection fitted.
1. Ensure power is disconnected from all cables and devices.
2. Remove the cover from Compartment A, saving the screws
for later reattachment (Figure 6.1).
3. Connect the mains power supply cable to the L, N and E
terminals in Compartment A.
4. Using guidance from your supplier, connect up to 3 control
devices to the relay and auxiliary power terminals in
Compartment A.
If you need to install link wires to provide mains power to
the relays, ensure that you use mains-rated wire of sufficient
current-carrying capacity and with an appropriate insulation
colour.
5. Reattach the cover on Compartment A.
6. Switch on the power supply to the Hub.
When mains power
is correctly connected, the red “Mains Present” LED will
light in Compartment B
(Figure 6.2)
.
If this LED is not lit,
please check that you have followed the above instructions
correctly. If the LED is still not lit, please stop the installation
process here and contact your supplier.
