Transport and storage
For transport purposes, the appliance must
necessarily be secured against falling or turning
over
When storing the appliance, it is necessary to make
sure that
the appliance is kept in a dry place inaccessible
to children and unauthorised persons.
Clean the appliance thoroughly
before storing it for a long time.
Servicing and treatment
Caution - risk of life by electric shock! Unplug the appliance
before any cleaning and treatment. Caution - risk of appliance
damage! Never clean the appliance under running water or in
rinsing water. Do not use aggressive cleaners or hard items
for cleaning as they could damage the appliance. Wipe the
appliance with a wet cloth from time to time.
The angle grinder itself does not require any special servicing.
At regular intervals and every time the appliance is
to be started, check the wheel if fitted tightly.
Replacing the grinding wheel (pic. IV)
1.
Unplug the appliance!
2.
Press the lock and let the wheel snap in.
Caution! Press the spindle lock only when the
engine and grinding spindle are idle!
3.
Open the clamping flange using the attached spanner.
4.
Replace the wheel and retighten the clamping flange
using the spanner.
5.
For grinding and dividing from 3 mm and less, the
clamping flange must be fitted in a way the flat side of
the flange sits on the wheel.
