Safety Instructions
Caution! As prevention of the electrical shock, the safety instruction below should be
followed at using electrical tools. Read these regulations and the instruction manual before
use to keep you safe
.
1. Read the instruction manual, follow the safety regulations precisely and keep the manual.
2. Keep your workplace tidy. A messy worktable may cause personal injuries.
3. Settle the unit on a stable flat surface in a well-lit area of a properly ventilated space and at a sufficient
distance from any flammable material. There should be sufficient space to take away the sparkles and
slug formed in the course of grinding. Nobody should stay in the working area of the unit in the course
of work . The unit should not be used in wet and moist places and should no be exposed to the rain.
4. Follow the regulations precisely and check to see that all the parts depicted in the drawings are
available. Children and non-specialists may not use the unit.
5. Fix the holder to the worktable before use.
6. Wear appropriate clothing. Do not wear loose buttoned shirts and any jewellery that could get in
contact with rotating parts.
7. Always wear goggles and protection gloves in the course of work.
8. Keep the unit at a dry locked place away from children while it is out of use.
9. Check the unit for damages. Before the use of the unit, check to see that it is capable of operation and
the functions of any removable and fixed parts, safety devices are perfect and there are no faulty parts.
10. Never use the unit for other than the assigned jobs and purposes. Use it for sharpening the saw chains
only.
11. Before using the unit, make sure that servicing sockets are removed.
12. Never remove nay parts of the unit.
13. Check all the screws and joints to make sure they are tight.
14. Do not overload the unit.
15. Make sure to have a foot hold any time and keep balance.
16. Always unplug the unit before putting it on storage, maintenance or grinding wheel exchange.
17. Mind what you are doing. Be cautious and stop working when feeling tired.
18. Do not pull the cable to unplug. Keep the cable away from sources of heat, oil and sharp edges.
19. Switch the unit off immediately on faults of the cable, plug or the safety devices. The same applies to a
defect of the switch or to a case of smoke or burning insulation smell formation. Also, switch the unit off
if it gets too noisy.
20. Caution! Heath hazardous noise may occur during the work. Wear ear protectors.
21. The unit may be put in operation if a plug jack is accessible.
