Engine does not start No power supply.
Blocked pump wheel Turn the engine shaft with screwdri-
ver through the fan cover (to release
friction circles sealing that may be stuck
together).
Pump does not suck Missing, loose or blocked check valve
Check valve is not in water.
Pump without water
Too high suction head.
Air bubbles in the suction pipeline.
Connections not sealed, pump sucks air,
pump is not deaerated.
Prefi lter clogged Fix or clean the check valve.
Immerse the check valve into water.
Fill the pump shell with water.
Check the suction head.
Check the tighten of suction pipeline.
Carefully repeat connection according to
the chapter „Connection“!
Clean the prefi lter.

Thermal detector swit-

Pump is overheated and switched off by
the thermal overloading protection.
No electric power supply.
Impurity particles (e.g. pebbles) have
settled down in the suction hole. Let the device getting cool!
Check power supply.
Disassemble and clean the suction
