Manual ET2 - EN - D09-ET20002-04
3.2 Maintenance and storage
• Store the ET in a dry place out of the reach of children.
• We suggest to clean the ET after every use. Remove woodchips and dust from the ET using a soft brush and or cloth.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories. Article numbers can be found
in the Part List Book.
• Grease the steel cable once a week with Teflon spray. Put some Teflon spray on a cloth and pull the wire as far as
possible out of the ET. Rub the cloth with spray against the cable when let it gently slide into the ET. This guarantees a
lighter operation.
• When the ET is disassembled, make sure that no debris can fall into the open tubes.
4. Unpacking and assembly
An unpacking instruction is available inside the box. Follow the instructions carefully to prevent damage during unpacking.
The plastic sleeve on picture 9 has to be removed. This sleeve is only meant for transport protection.
Hold the steel cable (photo 10) firmly and remove the black ball. Hold the steel cable and take the curved top tube and gently slide
onto the plastic tube connector until the dotted line of the sticker is equal to the clamp (photo 11-14). The ET is now ready for use.
For further adjustment instructions see 3.1 General operation.
