Earthing the Generator

Proper earthing of the generator will help

prevent electrical shock in the event of earth

fault condition in the generator or in connected

electrical devices. Proper earthing also helps

dissipate static electricity, which often builds up

in un-earthed devices.

This chart lists average power requirements. Your particular tool or appliance may require more or less

than the listed wattage. Where START wattage is the same as RUN wattage, this signifies no additonal

power is required for starting.

Firstly add up all the “running wattage” requirements for all items that you need to power simultane-

ously. Next, add to that total the highest of the “starting wattages” you listed down. Now you know

approximately how much power you need to start and run your appliances and equipment.
