2.2. Intended Use
The LiFePO4 battery of the GS series serves as a voltage source for
starting combustion engines that use a 12 V on-board network. In
applications other than karts, external undervoltage and overvoltage
protection must be used to protect the LiFePO4 battery of the GS series
from undervoltage and overvoltage. With our models with a BMS (Battery
Management System) it is not necessary to use an external undervoltage
and overvoltage protection, as this is handeled by the BMS. The
batteries with BMS switch off automatically even if they overheat. Do not
connect multiple LiFePO4 batteries in series or in parallel.
