5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Cause Solution
All the led (6) flash
In these conditions, the
GPRS module is not able
to provide any functions. The SIM card has not been inserted
correctly.
Insert the SIM card correctly.
The 1
st
led of the scale
(6) is red.
The prompt for Pin insertion is still active.
Remove the SIM card from the
GPRS module and use it on a mobile
phone. Verify that the PIN code is not
required. Otherwise, disable the PIN
code request.
The SIM card has not been activated by
the operator. Consult your service provider to
activate the SIM card.
The SIM card has expired (at least one
recharge a year is required).
Use a functional SIM card.
No field in the mobile phone network. Conctat you operator.
Led RX-TX (5) off.
In normal conditions, they
flash at regular intervals.
The GPRS module is not powered.
Check that the GPRS module is
powered and connected to the stove.
The appliance is not powered. Check that the appliance is powered.
Connection of the GPRS module with the
appliance is not active or it is damage. Check connection between GPRS
module and appliance.
Unsuccessful
commands.
The GPRS module is not powered.
Check that the power light of the
GPRS module is lighting up and if the
GPRS module is connected to the
appliance.
The stove is not powered. Check that the stove is powered.
Incorrect phone number. Check that the phone number is correct
SMS message not acknowledged.
Check that the SMS messages
contain the commands according to
the established SETTING (see “
USE ”).
No phone number in memory.
Save at least one phone number in
memory (see chap. “
USE ”).
