Separate the upright vacuum from the upright
vacuum base with brush

by pressing the release
button and separating the two parts as shown
below.

Use a pair of scissors to cut away thread items
such as hair or string. Make sure all the dirt and
thread items are removed as they may affect the
brushes ability to roll and pick up dirt.

If the brush requires a more thorough clean, you
can remove the brush

as shown below:
a. Open the cover by using a screwdriver or coin
to twist the lock from the locked position to
unlocked. Remove the cover and then brush and
clean it.
b. Insert the brush back into place and check that
it can spin freely.
c. Put the cover back on and twist the lock to the
locked position.
Cleaningthehose

Clean the hose by passing a slightly damp cloth
through it. Make sure all dirt is removed.

When you have finished cleaning the vacuum,
reassemble it fully ready for next use.
Storage
If you will not be using the vacuum for a long period of
time, please store it carefully.
Make sure the appliance is clean, unplugged and
completely dry.
Store the accessories in the accessory storage space
and fold down the upright vacuum’s handle.
Store it in a cool, dry place.
Make sure the appliance is always kept out of the
reach of children.
Batterydisposal
To dispose of the battery, make sure the battery is fully
discharged and then take it to your nearest qualified
service centre for removal and safe disposal of the
battery.
Caution
Batteries are dangerous if incorrectly handled. If the
battery is leaking, use appropriate protective gloves
to remove it. Rinse your hands in water thoroughly
after dealing with the battery.
Note
You must not throw batteries away with household
waste. Make sure you dispose of it in accordance
with the applicable legal regulations.
