listening to DMX service during 10 days, starting at the

The ST16 leaves the factory with all the actual Astra
radio stations pre-programmed (available stations at
the time of production). It is also possible to
program new stations easily.

Automatic search of new stations

To be able to programme new ADR stations of
which the reception frequency is not known to you,
the ST16 is provided with an automatic tuning
system (LEARN).
This system automatically programmes all receivable
digital radio stations of the ASTRA system in the
right categories FREE or DMX.

This procedure can take approximately 30
minutes.

Your own favourite FAV table remains

unchanged.
The LEARN system stores the FREE stations in
ascending order in the empty memory positions and
the DMX stations according to the transmitted DMX
number.
A repeated LEARN procedure does not clear any
station that at that moment can not be received.
However, it stores new stations if the unit receives any.

• Press the

LEARN

key for at least 2 seconds.

– The automatic search is started and the display

shows

LEARN

>>.

– As soon as a station is found, the number of that

station will be shortly indicated on the left of the
display.

– The DMX LED lights up if a DMX station is found.
– After the search the set will tune to station nr. 1 in

the FREE memory bank.

• The

LEARN

function can be interrupted at any

moment by switching the unit off and on again.
The already existing memory of DMX and FREE
stations will then remain unchanged.
