Preparation
Switch the video recorder and the TV set on and select the »AV« programme position for video play-
back on the TV set.
Hold ready the user manual for the video recorder.
Programming

Press the »

« button on the video recorder or on the video recorder’s remote control.
– The »AUTO INSTALLATION« menu appears on the screen of the TV set.

the same time until the menu appears.
– For the buttons which are to be used on the video recorder please consult the video recorder’s
user manual.

– The »LANGUAGE« menu appears on the picture screen.

– The »COUNTRY« menu appears on the picture screen.

A menu appears on the picture screen asking you whether the aerial cable and the EURO-AV
cable from the VCR-SAT module have been connected to the video recorder.
– Plase check to see whether all cables have correctly been connected.

The »SAT RECEIVER« menu appears on the picture screen.

« buttton to select the »SAT CONTROL. ON« setting.
– A message on the picture screen invites you to connect the VCR-SAT module to the video recor-
der. The ”CONNECTED” message signals the correct connection.

Start the automatic channel search with the »

« button.
– The message ”AUTOMATIC SORTIING. PLEASE WAIT.” appears on the picture screen.
– The video recorder now explores all TV channels for terrestrial TV programmes and satellite
programmes, sorts them and stores them automatically. The search can take several minutes.
– When the search is completed, the message »MOVE« appears on the picture screen.
Note:
You can sort the found TV programmes to suit your taste. If the order of the TV programmes is to
your convenience, end programming with step

Select the TV channel you wish to move to another programme position using the »
