Extreme conditions like hot and 

highly humid environment or im-

proper use of this appliance may 

cause the batteries to leak which 

may cause personal injury. If the 

batteries leak, remove them with a 

cloth and dispose of  them in ac-

cordance with the applicable laws. 

Prevent battery acid from coming 

into contact with skin and eyes. If 

battery acid comes into contact 

with your eyes, flush your eyes 

thoroughly with plenty of water 

and consult a physician immedi-

ately. If battery acid comes into 

contact with your skin, wash the 

affected area with plenty of water 

and soap.

 

Batteries are very dangerous if 

swallowed. Please keep the bat-

teries and this appliance away 

from children at all times. If a bat-

tery is swallowed, seek medical 

attention immediately.

 

The batteries should never be re-

charged or reactivated in any way, 

nor should they be thrown into a 

fire. 

Never allow the batteries to come 

in contact with water.

 

If you do not plan to use the ap-

pliance for a long period of time, 

then remove the batteries. The ap-

pliance can get damaged if they 

leak. 

 

If your scale does not function 

properly, replace all batteries.

 

Batteries should not be disposed 

of together with the  in household 

waste! Please dispose of expired 

batteries in an environmentally 

friendly way and according to the 

applicable legal regulations.

 

Never use old and new batteries or 

batteries of differing brands simul-

taneously.

 

Before disposing of the appliance, 

remove the batteries.

 

When inserting batteries pay at-

tention to the polarity as indicated 

inside the battery compartment. 

Do not short-circuit the batteries.

 

The scale switches off automati-

cally after 10 seconds once the 

measurement is complete.
