Setting up the Docking System
1.Insert the connector of the power adaptor into the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit.
2.Insert the power adaptor plug into the wall socket and switch the socket on.
3.Gently dock your iPad/iPhone/iPod into the docking connector.
4.Press the
button to turn the unit on.
Caution:
• Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage
printed at the bottom of the unit.
•
Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the power adaptor, always pull the plug from the
socket and ensure both the unit and mains power is turned off. Never pull the cord.
• Before connecting the power adaptor, ensure you have completed all other connections.
Using the Docking System with Batteries
This unit can be powered by six UM-3 (LR6) “AA” type batteries.
1. Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the unit.
2. Insert six “AA” type batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment at the bottom
of the unit observing the polarity markings on the base of the battery compartment.
Alkaline batteries are recommended for longer life.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
Caution:
It is important to replace the battery with the same type of battery outlined above.

If the unit is not used for an extended period of time, we recommend removing the
battery to ensure that the battery does not leak.
• Dispose of batteries in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
