Radio reception

When the device is switched off, the current time; date and day of the week
are shown in the display.

ON/OFF

« to switch on the device.

– In the display, » FM«, the station frequency and station name briefly

appear; then the display switches to time, date and day of the week.

– The previous channel position is automatically selected.

Select the desired channel position with the »

1 ... 10

« buttons.

– Press  »

1 ... 10

« once for channel positions 1 ... 5, and twice for

channel positions 6 ... 10.

display.

Calling up information

The display on your device supplies information about the current time and
day of the week, or the station name and frequency.

radio display (frequency, station name) and back.

RDS traffic information

Many RDS stations in the UKW (FM) frequency band offer additional traffic
reports.

Select the desired RDS station with the »

Activate the traffic information function by pressing »

– If the selected RDS station offers traffic reports, »

display, with EON stations »

« additionally appears.

– If a traffic report is transmitted, it can be heard at high volume.
– If the selected radio station does not transmit traffic reports, but an-

other station in the same chain does offer this service, the device swit-
ches to this station for the duration of the traffic report and then swit-
ches back to the selected station (EON function).
