OPERATING WITH A COMPUTER

MP3/WMA data transfers

Select the MP3/WMA files on your computer for copying.

Highlight the files.

Right-click the mouse to select »Copy«.

Open a removable disc drive (e.g. H:) on your computer.

Right-click the mouse to transfer the files onto the removable disc drive 
(e.g. H:) 

Note:

DRM (Digital Right Management)-protected WMA files can only be played if
they are transferred to the device using the Windows Multi Media Player.

Notes:

All voice recordings are stored as individual files in the voice directory.
Recordings from FM radio are stored as individual files in the FM directory.

Transferring DRM-protected WMA data

For Windows 98 SE / 2000 / ME / XP / Vista, you should update the Win-
dows Media Player with versions 9.0 or 10.0 (version 10.0 only applies to Win-
dows XP). The following steps only apply to the Windows Media Player 10.0,
i.e. Windows XP.

Select the DRM-protected WMA files on your computer for copying.

Highlight the files.

Right-mouse click to select the »Add the Sync. list«.

Select »Sync.« in the window.

In the »Sync.« window, select the DRM-protected WMA files, then select the
player.

Click on »Start Sync.«.
– The DRM-protected WMA files are transferred to the player.
