Selecting the language for the
user guide
The language for the user guide can be changed.
This change has no effect on the setting of the TV
programmes with the ATS euro plus automatic
channel search.

Preparation
Switch the TV set on.
Select the programme position for the video recor-
der at the TV set (AV programme position).

– The selected language is indicated in colour.
Select the desired language using the

buttons and confirm using the

– The recorder switches to the TV picture. From
now on, all info tables and dialogue lines will
appear in the selected language.

The digital clock continues to operate even if the
recorder is separated from the mains (the time is
not displayed).

The clock is automatically adjusted during teletext
operation with programme position 1.

Remote control of other GRUNDIG
video recorders
Different GRUNDIG video recorders can be opera-
ted independently of one another using this remote
control.
Your GV 560 and a second video recorder from the
VS 600 to VS 900 series and from the GV 200
series on.
The GV 560 must be reset so that it can receive the
remote control commands properly.

Setting the VCR address for the GV 560
One after another, press the

Remote control of the two recorders
With the switch in the VIDEO 2 position you can
operate the GV 560;
With the switch in the VIDEO 1 position you can
operate the second recorder.

If the VIDEO 1 2 switch is not at the selected VCR
address during GV 560 operation, the display

« on the recorder signals that
the remote control must be switched to the other

Remote control of the TV set
This video remote control enables you to operate
GRUNDIG colour TV sets that use remote control
model TP 590 or higher.

Which functions you will actually be able to use
depends on the features of the particular GRUNDIG
TV equipment.

Switch on the TV set using the mains switch.
Shift the switch on the remote control to TV position.

by-step from 1 to 99 using the

Adjusting the volume.
