Selecting­the­radio­input­source
1­ Press the ON/OFF button briefly to power on the
device
2 Move the » BLUETOOTH/CD/USB/RADIO «
switch to the » RADIO « position.
DAB­radio­mode
1. For the best DAB reception, it is sufficient to extend
the telescopic antenna and direct it accordingly.
2. Press the MODE/INFO button until the display is
showing ‘DAB’.
Tuning­and­storing­DAB­radio­sta-
tions­first­installation
After the device has been connected to the mains for
the first time or after factory reset, the device will start
to scan the whole DAB bandwidth and store in the
station list.
1. Press
ON/OFF
button to switch on the device.
LCD will show ‘ GRUNDIG ’. The automatic station
search starts, searches and stores the radio stations
in a station list.
Selecting­stored­DAB­stations­from­
the­station­list
The available DAB stations are stored in a station list.
1. Select the DAB station you want with
DOWN
or
UP
button.
Tuning­and­refreshing­DAB­radio­
stations
You can activate the auto scan function again. That
is reasonable if you are using the device in another
place or for searching new DAB radio stations.
1.
Press On/Off button to switch on the device to DAB
mode.
2.
Start the automatic station search by pressing and
holding down the
UP
or
DOWN
button.
Note:
­
The device will remove the unavailable stations
from the list, and add the new DAB stations into the
list.
Manual­tuning­DAB­stations
You can tune to the specific DAB channel for any
new DAB stations in your area.
1.
Press
ON/OFF
button to switch on the device to
DAB mode.
2.
Press and hold the
PLAY/PAUSE/SEL
button to
RADIO­MODE­________________________________
enter DAB menu. The display will show “Manual” as
the first option.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SEL button again to enter
DAB manual tune. The current channel and frequen-
cy will be displayed.
4. Press the UP or DOWN button to choose the desired
channel number for searching the new DAB stations.
Then press the
PLAY/PAUSE/SEL­ button to con-
firm. The newly received DAB stations will be added
to the DAB station list.
Storing­DAB­radio­stations­to­presets
After the automatic station search, all radio stations
will be stored in the station list. You can store your
favourite radio stations on 20 presets.
1. Press ON/OFF button to switch on the device to
DAB mode.
2. Press UP or DOWN button to select the desired
DAB station.
3. Press the PROG/MEM/STOP button to display the
preset store list.
4. Press the ALBUM/MEMORY­UP or DN button to
choose the desired preset number.
5. Press the PROG/MEM/STOP button again to
store the DAB station into preset list.
Notes:­ You can replace a station on a preset with
a new one by carrying out steps 2 to 5 as described
above.

presets
1. Select the DAB station you want with
ALBUM/
MEMORY­UP­
or
DOWN
button to choose
the stored stations from presets.
Displaying­DAB­station­information
1. To display information on the current DAB station
press and hold the MODE/INFO button repeat-
edly.
Note: the following display appears in succession:
Information from the provider (e.g. the actual broad-
cast, the title of the song, the email address, phone
number, etc), the genre, the signal strength, the fre-
quency and the bit rate.
Setting­DRC­(Dynamic­Range­Con-
trol)­for­DAB­stations
When you activate DRC, you can hear lower sounds
better in a loud environment.
