Before you start:
The ceiling mounting is applicable to the indoor/outdoor solid ceiling
construction. The followings are the mandatory precondition for
ceiling mounting:

The thickness of the ceiling shall range from 5mm to
40mm.
•
Make sure the ceiling is strong enough to withstand
more than four times the weight of the PTZ camera and
its accessories.
Wiring
The cables of PTZ camera can be routed either from the top or the
side of the back box, as shown in Figure 2-4.
For the cables routed from the top of the back box, it is required to
drill a cable hole in the ceiling.
