• Select the wave range using the
BAND
selector .
• Tune to the desired radio station using the
TUNING
knob.
– For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial and tilt it via the joint into a
more or less horizontal position.
– For MW or LW, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is
no need to use the telescopic aerial. The built-in aerial can be
directed by turning the whole set.
BATTERIES
• Insert as indicated two alkaline batteries, type AA, R6 or UM3.
• Remove the batteries if exhausted or if they are not to be used again
for a long time.
Note on Environmental Protection
Do not throw exhausted batteries in the household refuse. Hand over
the old batteries to your dealer or public collecting points when buy-
ing new ones.
MAINTENANCE
• Do not expose the set to rain, moisture, sand or to excessive heat
from e.g. heating equipment or in motor cars parked in the sun.

The model number is located at the back of the set and the production
number in the battery compartment.
