Description:
The Grundfos Zone Control family are non-networked devices intended to be used for
circulator and boiler control in hydronic heating systems.
Warning:
Electrical shock and potential circuit damage. Disconnect power supply before beginning
installation. All wiring must comply with national and local electrical codes, ordinances and regulations.
Failure to follow electrical codes could result in serious personal injury, death, and property damages.
Cold Start Boiler Installation:
>
Do not remove factory installed jumper between ZCCP & L1
>
Attach low voltage thermostat leads to respective thermostat
terminals T1R1 & T1W1, if thermostat requires voltage use 24AC
C terminal
>
Attach circulator leads to respective terminals (LC1 & NC1)
>
Connect isolation end switch (terminals X1 & ZRX2) to TT
terminals on boiler aquastat
>
Select priority switch setting
>
Connect supply voltage to terminals (N & L1)
Tankless Coil Boiler Installation:
>
Move factory installed jumper
to terminals L1 & X1
>
Attach low voltage thermostat leads to respective thermostat
terminals T1 R1 & T1 W1, if thermostat requires voltage use 24AC
C terminal
>
Attach circulator leads to respective terminals (LC1 & NC1)
>
Connect terminals ZCCP & ZRX2 to boiler aquastat ZR & ZC
>
Select priority switch setting
>
Connect supply voltage to terminals (N & L1)
External Diagnostics:
>
Green
LED indicates presence of 24VAC at secondary side of transformer.
>
Yellow
LED indicates a thermostat(s) call for heat
>
Red
LED indicates Zone 1 priority is active
Agency Listings:
USL UL 873 Temperature Indicating and Regulating Equipment
CNL CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 24.
Warranty:
3 years
Priority Switch Settings:
OFF
Position:
No set priority, all zones operate independently
ON
Position:
Zone 1 has priority until the demand is satisfied
TMR
Position:
Zone 1 has priority for 1-Hour. The remaining zones will stop operation
until Zone 1 is satisfied or until the 1-Hour priority has expired.
