In order to avoid back-flow conditions (in case of defect pump rubber hoses) please make sure that the connection rubber
hoses on pressure side may not insert into the aquarium water.

Please insert the connection rubber hoses of the suction side into the trace-element reservoirs.
6.
Please set the desired daily dosing quantity (weekly dosing quantity divided by 7) via the switches.
(Please see programming of pumps/adjustment of dosing quantity).
7.
Please plug in the AC/DC-adapter (85-250 VAC/50-60 Hz).
8.
Pump no. 1 starts pumping and LED begins to flash.
9. Now the rubber hoses will be deaerated.(Please see manual control of the pumps)
Attendance/Maintenance :
The TEC 4 NG is largely maintenance-free.
However, the pump cassettes of the individual dosing pumps should be dismantled every half year and the insides
of the cassettes, the rollers, the rubber hoses and the motor shaft be cleaned with a fluffy-free
cloth and some spirit.
According to the daily dosing quantity and the type of dosed liquids the cleaning intervals should be adjusted.
Under no circumstances the pumps should be oiled!

Safety advice:
Before maintenance resp. cleaning of the aquarium please unplug the mains supply.
Not to be used in humid rooms. Please protect against water.
During installation, please take care that the unit will not be in direct contact with current-carrying cables/devices.
We recommend a minimum distance of 20 cm to cables and electric/electronic devices, mainly also transformers,
power supply units etc. in order to avoid malfunction of the device's electronic !
The TEC 4 NG must not plugged into multiple pockets of aquarium computers !
The TEC 4 NG is to be used for the dosing of trace-element solutions only. Usage for other purposes is not permitted
and will be consequent on exclusion of either warranty or liability.
Not to be used for solvents or volatility substances
Please unplug mains supply before opening.
Warranty:
Starting after date of invoice we grant a warranty period of 24 months for your TEC 4 NG.
This warranty includes all damages of material and manufacturing defects and is only applicable if the TEC 4 NG has been
handled correctly. Please send the defective TEC 4 NG device as well as the invoice to your supplier or directly to (to avoid
unnecessary costs please send the device free of charge)
