The appliance is intended for household use only and may only be
used indoors. It is not intended for use in environments such as
staff kitchens of shops, offices, farms or other work environments.
Nor is it intended to be used by clients in hotels, motels, bed and
breakfasts and other residential environments.
Caution
: Any misuse can cause severe personal injury or material

The appliance is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
Packaging material such as plastic bags keep out of reach of chil-
dren.
In case the cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to be re-
placed by an authorized service agent of the manufacturer or a
person having similar qualifications. Substantial dangers for the
user can appear from inappropriate repairs.
Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified
personal in order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid
hazards.
If in doubt about the interpretation of the contents of this instruction
manual, please contact your dealer or use the provided contact
address.
In case the device is sold by the original owner or given to third
party users, instructions for safe use of the device must be handed
over to them, and they must have understood the hazards in-
volved, through reading the instruction manual and in particular the
safety warnings contained in it, which should always accompany
the device.

Putting into operation
Remove all packaging material from the appliance and put it on a heat and water resistant, stable
and flat surface.
Before first use clean the inside of the kettle carefully
. Rinse the kettle with water for several
times.
Never allow the cord to come in contact with the hot kettle. Put the plug into an earthed socket.
Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX / maximum marking (3). Never overfill the kettle. Place the
lid (1) on the kettle and press it downwards. Make sure that the splash guard (9) at the lid it op-
posite of the spout (9) at the kettle. Keep the lid closed during the boiling process.
Put the kettle on the base (4). A signal emits, the function (5) and LED (6) lights up for a second.
The LED shows two lines (- -) which go off after 60 seconds.
Press the button “
Function Selection
” (8) for selection at the function-display (5) from “Heat” for
boiling water and for heating water up to a temperature of 40/55/70/85/95°C (see section “heat
water”). Press the button “Start / Cancel” (7) to start the selected function.
The LED (6) shows the current temperature and indicates that the kettle is in operation.
At function setting “Heat” water is heated up until boiling. The appliance switches off automatical-
ly when the water is boiling
(100°C)
, the kettle emits a signal (3 x beep), the control lamp and the
LED (6) go off. The LED shows two lines (- -) which go off after 60 seconds.
Pour out the hot water and rinse the kettle once more.
Attention
: The water of the first two boiling process should not be used for food preparation!
The kettle can be turned off at any time by pressing the button “Start / Cancel” (7).
Heat water to selected temperature (not boiling) and keep
warm function
Fill the kettle with water to the desired level, observing the MIN (0,2 l) and MAX (0,5 l) markings.
Press the button for “

as often as the desired temperature is shown at
the function-display (5). Then press the button “
Start / Cancel
” (7).
The LED (6) shows the current temperature and indicates that the kettle is in operation.
Once the selected temperature is reached, the kettle emits a signal (3 x beep). The water will be
kept for approx. 30 minutes at the selected temperature.
The appliance switches off automatically after 30 minutes, a signal emits (3 x beep), the LED (6)
goes off.
The kettle can be turned off at any time by pressing the button “Start / Cancel” (7).
Note
Only use the kettle while the lid is closed.
To pour hot water, remove the kettle from the base (4) and keep the lid closed.
If the kettle is removed from the base (4), all selected settings will be lost.
The tolerance of the shown temperature is +/-5 °C. The tolerance is lowest at filling up to MAX-
level marking.
Safety system
If by mistake the water kettle is switched on without water, the thermostat protects the kettle from
overheating by switching it off.
To switch on the kettle after boil-dry it must cool down approx.
20 minutes
to allow the thermostat to reset. The LED shows “
E2
” until the kettle has cooled down.
Cleaning and maintenance
Pull the plug and wait until the kettle is cooled down.
Never immerse the kettle or the base into water.
Do not use caustic or scouring cleaning agents.
