Safety notes
• Installation is
only permitted
in frost-free rooms.
• The plug-in connectors must
not
be directly or indirectly
sprayed with water when cleaning.
Application
Can be used in conjunction with:
• Pressurised storage heaters
• Thermally-controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically-controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with unpressurised storage heaters (displacement
water heaters) is
not
possible.
Technical data
• Flow pressure:
– min.
0.05 MPa
– recommended
0.1 - 0.5 MPa
• Operating pressure
max. 1.0 MPa
• Test pressure
1.6 MPa
If static pressures exceed 0.5 MPa, a pressure-reducing valve
must be installed.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and cold water
supply.
• Max. flow
8.2 L/min or 2.2 gpm / 0.41 MPa
• Hot water supply temperature:
max. 176 °F
Recommended (energy saving):
140 °F
• Ambient temperature:
39 – 104 °F
• Relative air humidity:
max. 80%
• Voltage supply:
6V lithium battery (type CR-P2)
• Power consumption:
1,4 W
• Automatic safety shut-off after touch:
60 s
• 3 water pulses indicates discharged battery.
• Type of protection control:
IP 44
• Water connection
cold - right (T-connector)
hot - left
Installation
Refer to the hose lengths and installation dimensions on fold-
out page I.
Caution:
The control should be easily accessible to trigger
cleaning mode.
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
.
Install and connect fitting,
see fold-out page II, Fig. [1] to [7].
Caution:
T-connector must be connected on the cold water
supply, see Fig. [6].
Install holder and control,
see Fig. [8] and [9].
Insert battery and connect solenoid valve to control,
see
Fig. [10] to [14].
When using metal sinks, the sink must be connected to
the control using the enclosed cable,
see fold-out page III,
Fig. [15].
Open hot and cold water supply and check connections
for leakage!
Operation/commissioning
To avoid water damage, ensure the spout is
always positioned over the sink and ensure
free draining.
Operation,
see fold-out page III, Fig. [16].
By touching the
gray
areas with your hand, cold water can be
drawn without operating the lever
Caution:
Triggering
only
through skin contact.
The spout can be swivelled by the
white
mouthpiece
without
triggering the fitting.
Shower jet diverter,
see Fig. [17].
Flow rate limitation,
see Fig. [18] and [19].
Cleaning mode,
see Fig. [20].
Cleaning mode is activated by pressing the
AQUA STOP
button.
• Confirmation by a water pulse and 1 x flashing of the
indicator lamp in the control.
• In cleaning mode, the indicator lamp flashes 2 x.
• Elapse of cleaning mode after 2 minutes.
Adjusting the sensitivity,
see Fig. [20].
The sensitivity of the triggering varies depending on the
ambient temperature and humidity. The sensitivity can be
adjusted in 5 steps. The control step 3 is factory preset.
By pressing the
AQUA STOP
button for at least 10 seconds,
the menu is activated and the indicator lamp flashes 1x.
• The last saved value will then be shown by flashing, e. g. 3x
for step 3.
• Each additional pressing increases the sensitivity by one
step.
• If no pressing is performed, the indicator light flashes 1x and
the menu is exited. The last set value is stored.
