downwards. Take particular care when
changing the direction of travel on the
slope. Do not work on excessively steep
slopes.
• When switching the machine on, avoid
feet or hands being trapped between
the moving blades and the fixed parts
of the machine.
• Never carry the machine by the blade
cylinder.
Caution! To avoid damaging the
machine and potential injury as a
consequence:
• Check the terrain on which the machine
is used and remove stones, sticks, wi-
res or other foreign bodies that may be
picked up and flung outwards.
• Ensure that the machine is in a safe
operating condition. Replace worn or
damaged parts.
• Protect the machine from the effects of
weathering (damp, frost).
Assembling the handle
1. Connect the two lower bow sec-
tions to the crosspiece using the
two square-head bolts.
2. Fix the bottom section of the
handle to the equipment.
3. Plug the top section of the hand-
le into the two central sections
and screw it in place with the two
shorter screws.
4. Screw the central sections to the
bottom section of the handle
Adjusting the cut height
The cut height is infinitely adjustable
(15 – 42 mm) by changing the position of
the rollers::
Loosen the wing screws on both
sides of the equipment and set the
desired cut height. Ensure that
both axles are set to the same
height.
Set the cut height no lower than to
where the blade cylinder does not
touch the ground even where it is
uneven.
Assembling/emptying the
grass bag
Initial assembly
Push both tube bows (7) into the
stitched-in pockets of the textile
bag (9) on the left and right re-
spectively. Connect the two tube
bows (7) by pushing them into
the connecting sleeve (8).
• Now screw the ends of the bow
onto the base of the grass bag.
• Follow this order, as the connec-
ting sleeve can otherwise be put
in place only with great difficulty.
• Now hook the grass bag chain
onto the holder on the connec-
ting sleeve..
1. Hang the grass bag in the brackets
provided for this (10).
2. Fix the grass bag with the chain on the
crosspiece of the bottom section of the
handle (11).
3.
To take off / empty the grass bag, loosen
the chain and unhook the grass bag.
