assembly
assembling the g0717 requires connection of the
control panel to the top of the saw bow and instal-
lation of the motor and pulley cover.
to assemble your machine:
1.
remove the two hex bolts and washers
shown in
figure 10
from the top of the saw
bow.
2.
remove any remaining packing material from
around the control panel, then place it in posi-
tion on top of the saw bow, being careful not
to twist the cords/hoses.
3.
secure the control panel as shown in
figure
11,
using the hardware removed in
step 1
.
4.
remove the motor pivot pin from the saw bow
(see
figure
12
for location).
7.
place the belt over the pulleys.
8.
remove the hex bolt shown in
figure 13
.
9.
rotate the motor tilt plate upward until it
aligns with the hole from which the hex bolt
was removed in
step 8
, then re-install the
hex bolt.

tension the belt according to
step 5
in
v-Belt
on
page 43
.

With the help of one or more assistants, lift
the motor into position and re-insert the motor
pivot pin.
6.
secure the motor pivot pin with the hardware
removed in
step 4
(see
figure
12
).
