Allen screw (5) are aligned.
3. Use the enclosed Allen screw
(5a) and fixing nut (5b) to fix
both parts.
Attaching the Shoulder Strap:
1. Fix the spring clips on the
shoulder strap (18) to the carry-
ing eyelet (15) on the telescopic
handle of the equipment.
2. Adjust the strap length such that
the carrying eyelet (15) is at hip
height.
3. The height of the carrying eyelet
(15) can also be adjusted on the
telescopic handle after loosen-
ing the Allen screw (16).
Operation
Do not use the equipment without
the hand guard. Wear suitable
clothing and work gloves when
working with the equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is
functional before each use. The
On/Off switch and the safety
switch must not be held closed.
They must switch off the motor
when on is released. Should a
switch be damaged, stop working
with the equipment. Ensure that
the mains voltage value matches
the label on the equipment.
Note noise protection and local
specifications.
Adjusting the Telescopic
Handle
The telescopic handle (6) is infinitely adjust
-
able by approx. 40 cm.
1. Loosen the height adjustment
screw (7).
2. Pull or push to adjust the length
of the telescopic handle (6).
3. Retighten the height adjustment
screw (7).
Angling the Cutting Head
To cut sloping edges or the top of the
hedge, the cutting head can be swivelled
into 5 positions.
Press the lock button (4) and
swivel the cutting head (2) at the
same time. It clicks into the desired
position when the lock button is
released.
Turning the Handle
With the handle, which can be turned
through 180°, you always have the ideal
cutting position.
Push the locking bolt (9) forwards
and turn the handle (14) to the
right or left at the same time. It
clicks into the desired position
when the locking bolt is released.
Switching On and Off
Ensure that you are standing in a
firm position with both hands grip
-
ping the hedge trimmer away from
the body. Ensure that the trimmer
is in contact with no other objects
before switching on.
