ejector chute.
Snow can block the auger or the ejector
chute.
• Remove any blockages carefully with
a piece of wood or plastic.
Do not use any hard or sharp objects,
as these could damage the machine.

in these instructions carried out
by a customer service centre

only original parts.
Switch off the device, remove
the safety key and remove the
rechargeable battery from the de-
vice, after all tasks.
General Cleaning and
Maintenance Work
Do not jet water onto the appli
-
ance and do not clean it under
flowing water. This would result
in the danger of an electric
shock and the trimmer could be
damaged.
• Keep the ventilation channels, motor
housing and handles of the machine
clean. Use a damp cloth or a brush to
clean them.
Do not use any cleaning agent or sol-
vent. This could damage the machine
irreparably.
• Clean the ejector chute and the auger
of any snow residues after each use.
• Prior to every use, check the appli
-
ance for obvious defects such as
loose, worn or damaged parts. Check
that all nuts, bolts and screws are sit-
ting firmly.
• Check the covers and protective de
-
vices for damage and check that they
are sitting correctly. Replace them if
necessary.

2. Release the 4 cross-head
