BLADE ROTATION
Blades are engaged and disengaged via the switch (fig. 1, n. 6). When the blades are engaged the
engine must be running at medium r.p.m. (see throttle label) and the machine must be outside of the
grass to be cut. Never engage the blades with the engine at maximum r.p.m. The machine is
equipped with an electromagnetic clutch which also brakes the blade during disengagement. Blades
must stop within 5 seconds from their disengagement. If this is not the case, adjust the 3 nuts of the
electromagnetic clutch, placing a 0.3 mm feeler gauge under the brake plate.
N.B. This operation
must be carried out by an authorised after-sales service center.
REPLACING THE BELT
The movement is transmitted from the engine to the hydraulic transmission and to the blades by
means of a V-belt.
Replace the belt as soon as it shows signs of wear!
Its
replacement and
subsequent adjustment are fairly complex procedures and must be carried out by an authorised
service centre.
ALWAYS USE ORIGINAL BELTS!
ADJUSTMENT OF THE DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
The differential lock must engage half-way of the pedal stroke (fig. 1, n. 5). To adjust the differential
lock, use the adjusting screws (fig. 16).
TRACTION RELEASE LEVER
The traction release lever is located in the rear part of the machine (fig. 20). If the machine breaks
down, move the lever to idle position to allow it to be towed or moved by hand (fig. 20, B). In the
position (A) the machine is in working condition.
